Packing and Storing
It is time to pack up our tings and store them away while we go get some R and R. We will be back in Brussels for a couple days mid September then make the final move back to Canada (Ottawa).

Moving to Olive Garden
Haven't been very many updates lately for two reasons: we have not been up to much lately and we have been very busy doing a lot of things. This is because: the weather in Brussels has been about as stinky as the streets in Brussels, and we are beginning the transition back to Canada and the duties that we came here for have left us very busy.
First, it has rained every day now for 4 weeks. That's gloomy. Not all day every day, but enough so you can not plan anything.
Second, we have moved out of our apartment to allow new tenants to move in a little earlier than the end of our contract. These new tenants have also agreed to buy ALL our furniture, saving us (and them) a tonne of time and energy. Nonetheless moving out was still exhausting. We are now at our friends place (Rue Jardin des Olives, see view above), while they are conveniently on an overseas trip, for the days leading up to our 2 week holiday on the Adriatic. After this we will be heading back to Canada
I also had the chance to participate in an interview or two over the weekend, which included some travel.
With both theses (almost) done, and today being my final day at my internship at IUCN, we will be sure to fill our holiday as many activities as we can to fill the need to be productive.
I will post one more time before going on holiday. I am not sure if I will get the chance to postwhile away or not so it may be a couple weeks before hearing from us again. But expect lots of pictures and stories!

Panorama Crazy
Went out the earlier this week and took a whole bunch of pictures to make more panoramas, and here are a couple that worked out fairly well.

Brussels Flower Carpet
Once every to years the Brussels Flower carpet is rolled out into Grand Place. This is the weekend for it. The star shaped flower pedestals rotate. There is a theme for the carpet each year.

This yearin Brussels
In Brussels:
The month of January: the sun only made it through the clouds for 12 hours
The month of May: the coldest on record
The month of July: the hottest on record (didn't rain either)
Now it won't stop raining again.
Belgium and Easter Island share the same country dialing code -> *32*

the other itself destroyed a primitive civilization.
